Terms of Use
Terms of Use — meetcorda.com
Effective date: May 25, 2026
Welcome. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of meetcorda.com, including the blog, the caregiving readiness quiz, and the waitlist. If you use the Corda mobile app, separate Mobile Terms of Use apply — open the Corda app and tap Settings → Privacy & data → Legal to read them.
By using meetcorda.com, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The site is operated by [Corda Health, Inc.] ("Corda," "we," "us").
1. Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the site, join the waitlist, or take the quiz. The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
2. Beta status
Corda is in active development. Features, content, and availability may change without notice. The waitlist does not guarantee access to the product, and any beta access we offer is provided on an "as is" basis with no service-level commitment.
3. Your account and security
If you create an account (for example, to receive beta invites), you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity under your account. Notify us at legal@meetcorda.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from the site (except where applicable law expressly permits).
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest content or user information without our written permission.
- Interfere with the site's operation, attempt to bypass security, or transmit malicious code.
- Use the site to harass, defame, or violate the rights of others.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
- Use the site in violation of applicable law.
5. User content
If you submit content to the site — for example, quiz answers, blog comments (if enabled), or feedback — you retain ownership of that content. You grant Corda a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, store, reproduce, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving Corda. You will not submit content that contains another person's medical, identifying, or otherwise sensitive information without that person's consent.
6. Health information disclaimer
Corda is not a medical device, a medical provider, a healthcare service, or a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing on meetcorda.com — including the blog, the quiz, and any AI-generated summary — is medical advice. Do not use Corda for medical emergencies. In an emergency, call 911 (U.S.) or your local emergency number.
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider with questions about a medical condition. Reliance on any information on the site is at your own risk.
7. Intellectual property
The site, our brand, logos, and content (including blog posts and the quiz) are owned by Corda or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access and use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes only. All other rights are reserved.
8. Third-party links
The site may link to third-party websites we don't control. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or policies. Following a link is at your own risk.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the site at any time, with or without notice, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the site at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution) will survive.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CORDA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE DISCLAIMER OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO PARTS OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CORDA AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (CURRENTLY $0, AS THE SITE IS FREE) OR (B) USD $100.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Corda, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, or demand (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the site, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
13. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Delaware], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
Informal resolution first. Before filing a formal claim, please email legal@meetcorda.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve the issue.
Arbitration. If informal resolution doesn't work, any dispute arising out of these Terms or the site will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by [JAMS] under its then-current rules, in [Wilmington, Delaware] (or by video conference if both parties agree). Each party will bear its own costs except as the arbitrator orders otherwise.
Small-claims carveout. Either party may bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court instead of arbitration.
Class-action waiver. You and Corda agree to bring claims against each other only in an individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative action. If this waiver is found unenforceable, the entire arbitration agreement will be void.
Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing legal@meetcorda.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by posting a banner on the site and, where we have your email, by email. Continued use after the effective date of the change means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Miscellaneous
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Corda regarding the site. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
